Ski Area Hochkar
Hochkar Ski Area and Alpine Centre lies at 1,800m above sea level and is the highest in Göstling and the Lower Austrian foothills of the Alps, therefore guaranteeing good snow conditions.
The first Snow Park for Freestyle Skiing in eastern Austria recently opened here. The season begins at the start of December and continues until the start of May. The area is home to some famous ski legends such as Thomas Sykora, Andreas Buder and the World Champion Kathrin Zettel.
You can enjoy the 18 km of groomed ski slopes, curling, sledging and finish off with a hot punch!
We provide a twice daily shuttle service to the slopes throughout the winter season for €4.90 per person.
